The Premise
It's my 42nd year on this planet, roughly the midpoint of my life, and I thought I'd commemorate such a milestone with a year of ongoing chronicles. Your comments and "co-authoring" (adding your shared experience to any group events) are welcome and encouraged!

Snowmageddon 6
It is a little after noon, and the snow has been falling pretty steadily. Today is the beginning of a 2-day storm that has already left a ton of snow and up to an inch of ice on everything from west Texas through the midwest, PA and NY. There is about 3 inches of new snow on the ground so far, and we are expected to get up to a foot today, which is the "light" day. I am not looking forward to it at all. As long as the power and heat stay on though, I should be quite comfortable, as I have a decent food supply, and really, nowhere to be for the next few days.

Someone was nice enough to shovel the snow off my flat roof in the middle of the day, and I wound up shoveling at least 6" of snow from my steps, sidewalk and car.
